I've never used a guided journal before, and this felt a bit too restrictive for my tastes。 Some of the thought exercises were insightful, but the illustrations sometimes got in the way on the actual journaling pages。 It might b3 good for someone who doesn't regularly journal though。 I've never used a guided journal before, and this felt a bit too restrictive for my tastes。 Some of the thought exercises were insightful, but the illustrations sometimes got in the way on the actual journaling pages。 It might b3 good for someone who doesn't regularly journal though。 。。。more

This was a great little book to really bring your passions to light and sift through your thoughts! The watercolor artwork in the book is really wonderful as well!

I have a few of these writing prompt journal and so far this one is the most unimpressive。 Most of the pages are just scribble of quotes on one side and a generic prompt on the other。 I can understand the quotes since it's the author own handwriting, but the prompts are not fun to do。 At least change them up a bit so they're not always just a blank page with some writings。 I have a few of these writing prompt journal and so far this one is the most unimpressive。 Most of the pages are just scribble of quotes on one side and a generic prompt on the other。 I can understand the quotes since it's the author own handwriting, but the prompts are not fun to do。 At least change them up a bit so they're not always just a blank page with some writings。 。。。more

An easy and valuable self-exploration tool, and beautiful art! Tearing some of these pages out to hang as prints!!

This is more of an activity book than an actual book, but still nice to have。 Love the quotes inside it

I stumbled upon this while looking for a new journal on an e-commerce website。 A journal with prompts is great to change your line of thought at that particular moment。 It is overall a refreshing experience as it helps you to delve deeper into your negative emotions and brings out more positive memories that you may probably not reflect on or recall as much on a daily basis! I’m halfway through and will 10/10 recommend it to everyone :)

Self-exploratory, self-reflection book (Journal), that you write with the author。The author puts 3 lines on a page。。。 and the rest is up to you。Some of them resonated with me 。。。a lot。 Some - not。What I hate about that book the most - fonts, simulating handwriting styles for the quotes。 That journal is not about deciphering the text - and yet I've spent some time on that。 Wondering - what kind of letter is here or there。 Self-exploratory, self-reflection book (Journal), that you write with the author。The author puts 3 lines on a page。。。 and the rest is up to you。Some of them resonated with me 。。。a lot。 Some - not。What I hate about that book the most - fonts, simulating handwriting styles for the quotes。 That journal is not about deciphering the text - and yet I've spent some time on that。 Wondering - what kind of letter is here or there。 。。。more

This is a beautiful book, and thought-provoking to work with。 The one downside to me is there are too many pages with quotes in that currently trendy messy cursive with an uneven baseline that's just an eyesore to look at and hard to read。 Otherwise, really like this。 This is a beautiful book, and thought-provoking to work with。 The one downside to me is there are too many pages with quotes in that currently trendy messy cursive with an uneven baseline that's just an eyesore to look at and hard to read。 Otherwise, really like this。 。。。more

This is gorgeous and interactive。I bought it years ago at Urban Outfitters because I was attracted by the watercolours and the fonts。 The exercises are also really accessible and profound。Because of this pandemic, I have been moved to engage with my outstanding projects, and finishing the pages of this book was one of the bullet points I was able to check off my list。Patel has futher books/prints/cards in this vein, and I'm glad she continues to do her work for the world。 This is gorgeous and interactive。I bought it years ago at Urban Outfitters because I was attracted by the watercolours and the fonts。 The exercises are also really accessible and profound。Because of this pandemic, I have been moved to engage with my outstanding projects, and finishing the pages of this book was one of the bullet points I was able to check off my list。Patel has futher books/prints/cards in this vein, and I'm glad she continues to do her work for the world。 。。。more

The quotes and illustrations are *fabulous*! So, I read a quote and get excited and then I read the prompt and go。。。 sigh。I've put this book away and pulled it back out a handful of times over the years to no avail。Maybe I'm just in a different place on my journey。 As much as I love the left side of the book, the right side is simply not my journal。 The quotes and illustrations are *fabulous*! There are periods in life when you need to deep dive to find yourself again, and this book helps you do exactly that。 I looked forward to my mornings and evenings when I would work through two or three pages。 It was my companion through lots of mental hardships this year, and I highly recommend it to be your companion, too, if you need it。

The perfect journal for self-exploration and growth。 The quotes and pictures are so pretty and every single time I pick this journal up I feel comforted。 The activities are very engaging and diverse too。

Valene Hill

I loved this book。 It has a quote on the one page and on the other page it gives you something to do or to think about and write down。 It is almost like a journal, but it gets you to think very deep。 I enjoy that because I forget about things in life because I am too busy, tired, etc。。 So when I did this book it really made me stop and think about my life。 I liked it because it is very introspective。

A lot of really hard pages to get through, no growth without discomfort though right?

Very cute book, I gifted it after I was Done。

This is a journal with prompts on each page to explore yourself on a deep level。 Questions like:1。 If you could only 4 possessions, what would they be?2。 What are 10 dreams that have not come true YET?3。 What are things/ideas/etc。 that you wish you could leave behind?4。 What are 3 ideas that you fundamentally disagree with and why?5。 Describe something about yourself that pushes people away? And describe how that thing connects you?I wrote a few pages every morning that coincided with my "mother This is a journal with prompts on each page to explore yourself on a deep level。 Questions like:1。 If you could only 4 possessions, what would they be?2。 What are 10 dreams that have not come true YET?3。 What are things/ideas/etc。 that you wish you could leave behind?4。 What are 3 ideas that you fundamentally disagree with and why?5。 Describe something about yourself that pushes people away? Obviously I think every living person should complete this! 。。。more

Uplifting and thought-provoking quotes and wisdom from a fairly decent breadth of sources, all intertwined with various artistic presentations。 Enjoyed the inspirations that didn't come off preachy nor fickle。 Uplifting and thought-provoking quotes and wisdom from a fairly decent breadth of sources, all intertwined with various artistic presentations。 Enjoyed the inspirations that didn't come off preachy nor fickle。 。。。more
